Anoscopy

This is an examination of the area around the anus and end part of rectum. This examination enables samples collection for cytology; determination of bleeding location or a reason of pain.

Indications for the examination:

• Presence of fresh blood in the stool
• Chronic constipation
• Pain

Contraindications for the examination:

• There are no contraindications for this examination.
