In the following document we describe how we protect the privacy of users of the mobile app of Centrum Medyczne Damiana Holding Sp. z o.o. - Damian OnLine (Hereinafter: the “App”).
The App can be used on mobile devices with the following operating systems:
- iOS;
- Android with Google mobile services (GMS).
1. What data do we collect and how long do we keep it?
Once you have downloaded the App and run it for the first time, you will be notified that the App has been installed and is running. We do not store any data on your device at this stage.
a) Data stored on your device
When you log in to your Patient account in the App, your Card number, name, approximate location may be stored on your device, but only if you choose to remember it. The stored data may vary depending on the type of operating system you use on your device.
In addition, the file supporting the app stores data about the App's settings and your preferences for using the App, e.g. the language the you use, data about reading documents in the App, a timestamp for calendar events, a unique identifier generated for logging in using biometrics (only if you opt for this option), the five most recently selected specialties in the specialty finder, the type of user profile, and error data.
The above data may be deleted from your device when you uninstall the App or use the option to clear the App data from your device's cache.
In addition, through the App you can download data such as: test results, recommendations or prescriptions.
Downloaded files are saved to your device by default. Their storage time depends on your preferences.
b) Data we obtain when you use the App
We use the Firebase tool (Firebase Crashlytics service, Firebase Cloud Messaging) and Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to collect data about the use of the App.
We collect data about your device and your activities in the App, including: the type of device and its operating system, the version of the mobile app, the language you use, clicks on App elements, types of screens displayed in the App, text phrases typed in the specialty search form, approximate location.
We store such data obtained from the Firebase tool on the server for 3 months in particular to improve the performance of the App and detect errors. All data is anonymous and not associated with the user.

2. What security features do we use in the App?
In order to protect your data when using the App, we have implemented encryption mechanisms to ensure the security of data transmitted between our systems and the App.
You can also run additional security i.e. two-step verification (two-factor authentication) to strengthen the security of logging into the App.
Remember to properly secure the device on which you install the App and to keep your password for the App confidential and not to share it with anyone.
3. What device functions does the App have access to?
The App, if you agree, will gain access to certain functions and your device. Features may vary depending on the type of operating system you use on your device.
- calendar (reminders for appointments saved in the calendar),
- notifications (enabling push notifications),
- biometrics (for logging in when you choose this option),
- storage (when you download medical records to your device).
4. Blocking access to device features for the App?
If you use the App through an iOS and Android device, you can lock or unlock access to the device's features at any time from the App settings on the system you are using on the device.
