Manual therapy of the spine

Publication date: 09.08.2019

It is a field within physiotherapy. Its name suggests that the therapy is performed manually, that is using hands, by a physiotherapist. The method comes from the USA and UK where for over a hundred years osteopaths and chiropractors have diagnosed and treated different disabilities. A comprehensive model of manual diagnosis and therapy ensures successful treatment of muscle, ligament and joint malfunctions of limbs and spine.

The therapy is always preceded by a thorough active and passive palpation of the locomotor system. The treatment is performed by highly qualified staff who determine the choice of techniques necessary to improve the functions and relieve a patient's pain.
