Psychotherapy for couples

Publication date: 03.09.2019

At any stage of a relationship, problems may arise: smaller or larger, irrelevant or serious, short-term or lasting for years. Mutual resentment and reluctance are growing. We lack the ability to talk about problems with each other. Accumulation of problems in the relationship can lead to a breakup. However, before we take such radical actions, it is first worth seeking the help of a specialist.

If you are experiencing problems in a relationship and you would like to work on your relationship, we encourage you to attend therapy for couples and married couples at the Damian Medical Centre.

During regular meetings with a psychotherapist, a couple can get help, look at the current crisis in their relationship from a distance, analyse its sources, improve communication, improve their relationship, and – in some cases – justify the decision to separate.

The couple's psychotherapist is an impartial person, neutral to what is being said. The psychotherapist will not give an opinion on the responsibility for the crisis.

The number of sessions and the duration of the therapy are determined individually in consultation with the psychotherapist.
