Tone audiometry hearing test

Audiogram (tonal audiometry) – determines a threshold of hearing for human speech, it’s aim is to evaluate hearing problems and its type. Additionally this examination enables detection of middle ear abnormalities and/or inner ear cells damage. The test result are curves illustrating answers of the patient to sounds of different frequency. Audiogram should be performed regularly, if there exist a risk of hearing damage at work (noise, vibrations, chemical compounds).
