Muscles electrostimulation

Direct impulse current (flowing with breaks) is used here. The aim of the procedure is to stimulate the muscle to contract. Electrical stimulation of paralysed muscles (with damaged afferent nerves) is used as a substitute of natural impulses but it can also be used in healthy muscles in order to improve the peripheral circulation and muscle strength.
